BES - British Ecological Society
A successful scientific society who's main goals are to promote ecological science worldwide, by supporting and publishing ecological research, encouraging communication and collaboration among those ecologists, cultivate the teaching and learning of the science and, influence policy and practice.

BirdLife International
A global partnership of conservation organisations, working toward the conservation of birds, their habitat and biodiversity. Works with people for the sustainable use of natural resources.

BTO - British Trust for Ornithology
Works to promote and encourage a greater appreciation, understanding and conservation of birds. Conducts research into birds, provides advice and scientific evidence. Working is based on a working relationship between both amateurs and professionals.

CCC - Coral Cay Conservation
Coral Cay Conservation is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to protect and conserve natural resources whilst alleviating poverty and improving education in the communities it serves. This is acheived using teams of volunteer surveyors and staff at its expedition sites around the world.

FFI - Fauna and Flora International
A conservation organisation, that works to conserve both threatened species and ecosystems around the world. FFI is the worlds longest established international conservation organisation.

IoZ - Institute of Zoology
The research wing of the ZSL, specialising in the research of scientific issues pertinent to the conservation of animals and their environments.

PSGB - Primate Society of Great Britain
Promotes research into all areas of primate biology, conservation and management.

RSPB - Royal Society for the Protection of Birds
A UK based charity, which works toward creating a healthy environment, not only for birds, but also for other wildlife and people.

WWF - World Wildlife Fund
A charity that works to halt the destruction of the natural environment through conserving biodiversity, the sustainable use of renewable resources and reducing pollution and wasteful consumption.

WWT - Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust
A charity that promotes the conservation of wetlands, with particular focus on rare wetland birds. The WWT is the UK's largest international wetland conservation charity.

ZSL - Zoological Society of London
A charity dedicated to conservation and education. Main role is the conservation of animals and their habitats worldwide. The organisation also supports the London Zoo and Whipsnade Wild Animal Park.

Leopard Creek Private Conservation Reserve
A magnificent Private Conservation Reserve situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Formally a cattle ranch and then a hunting farm, Leopard Creek is now dedicated to the land and its wildlife in the hope to conserve and restore the natural dynamics within this wonderful ecosystem.
